Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Your future team The Production Supervisor reports to the Production Manager and has 8 direct reports. What you will be doing The Production Supervisor is responsible for cost effective manufacturing of Grid products consistent with required quality standards, safe work practices, effective housekeeping and maintaining compliance with personnel policies. Key responsibilities Lead and supervise a production team of up to 30 employees to safely achieve production, quality, and efficiency goals. Schedule and coordinate production activities to meet customer demand and delivery timelines. Coach, train, and evaluate team members, including scheduling, timekeeping, performance management, corrective action, and hiring support. Monitor production plans, performance, and downtime using SAP and other production systems to identify and implement process improvements. Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with safety standards, conducting accident investigations, and maintaining a safe work environment. Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, planning, shipping, and other departments to optimize production and resolve operational issues. Apply Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices to improve productivity and product quality. Maintain accurate production records, inventory support, and an organized work environment. Support plant operations, including facility opening/closing and other operational needs as required. What you bring 2–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset. Experience leading production teams, including scheduling, performance management, and coaching. Knowledge of production operations, workplace safety, and continuous improvement practices. Experience with SAP or other ERP/MES systems is an asset. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. The annual salary range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000. Your base salary is determined based on location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions.
