Cable Assembly Technician – Fiber Optic

Contract Details

• Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire

• Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking detail-oriented Cable Assembly Technicians to join a growing manufacturing team in Carrollton, TX. This role involves assembling fiber optic cable components while working with small parts in a clean production environment. Candidates who enjoy hands-on work, have strong manual dexterity, and can follow detailed work instructions are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble fiber optic cable components according to work instructions and quality standards.

• Perform cable braiding and shielding processes.

• Install end connectors accurately using hand tools.

• Work with small parts requiring precision and attention to detail.

• Conduct visual inspections to ensure product quality.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Meet daily production and quality goals.

Required Experience

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or a related environment is preferred.

• Experience working with small components or precision assembly is beneficial.

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Experience assembling fiber optic, electronic, or communication cables.

• Familiarity with manufacturing quality standards and inspection processes.
