Managing Regional Director

Job Summary The Managing Regional Director is the liaison between the Executive Director, Clinical Services or VP of Clinical Services and the Clinical Director at the facility level. The Managing Regional Director oversees each facility within their region. RD is responsible for complete oversight of operations and administration of rehabilitative outpatient clinics (within region) providing Physical and Occupational Therapy. Job includes effectively communicating with Clinical Directors making sure all policies, procedures are being followed, product is of high quality, and all KPIs/business metrics are being executed on. Ensures compliance with all regulations and health care requirements This position is also responsible for patient evaluation and treatment. Duties and Responsibilities Execute clinical philosophy in programming through effective clinical curriculum, education, training, and clinical supervision and ensure that staff performance and client experience is consistent with highest standard of care Direct management and supervision of Clinical Department including Primary Therapists and Clinical Supervisors (CDs, area directors) Work with compliance department with legal policies, guidelines and standards Ensure all medical records and other documentation are current and within state and federal laws Responsible for meeting census goals of each clinic and clinicians in region (region/office KPIs, number of patients seen, P and Ls, etc.). Scorecard review weekly with RCD Working with Human Resources, ensures compliance with all federal and state employment laws. Oversee each Clinical Directors management of Facility maintenance Review and approve timecards of employees under their supervision through UKG ensuring adherence to all federal and state regulations with respect to Exempt and Non-Exempt staff Interview/hiring (clinician opened positions in region) in collaboration with HR Oversee training and onboarding clinical staff in region Oversee management of performance problems on a clinic level within their region and elevating to HR when appropriate Monitor staff compliance Follow up with Clinical Directors on low net promoter scores in their office Monitor monthly budget of visits/evals, labor expenses, and clinical supplies for each office in their region Monitor documentation audits in their region Monitor clinician unsigned notes in their region Perform new patient eval audit as needed in offices in region Manages and approves expenses of staff in region Physician referral management (outreach visits, Direct access review, etc.) Clinical support staff expense management, scheduling, interviewing, hirering/termination Monitor discharge policy adherence Monthly clinical supply ordering Adhere to lost patient log workflow Weekly individual calls with all CDs Weekly meeting with ROM Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility to changes in the work environment. Provides a safe and therapeutic environment to all staff and patients.
