In this role, you will develop and manage sourcing strategies, lead strategic sourcing initiatives, and negotiate supplier agreements while collaborating with Procurement management, cross-functional stakeholders to drive cost savings, efficiency, and category performance.This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.When & where:Location: Tarrytown, NYWork model/flexibility: On-siteSchedule: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pmDiscover your role:Defines and implements the global Lab Consumables Category strategy to serve global and regional business needsAligns category priorities with Procurement management and cross-functional stakeholders through strategic sourcing initiativesManages negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management activities for the Lab Consumables category, in consultation with the Law departmentDrives cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency gains through category management activitiesRepresents Global Procurement in organizational decisions with critical short- and long-term impact on category performanceLeverages market intelligence, benchmarking, and supplier engagement to strengthen Regeneron's knowledge of supply market dynamicsApplies data analytics, automation, and visualization tools to generate insights and communicate results to stakeholders and senior leadershipThis role requires:Sr Manager Level: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field + 8+ years of progressive experience in procurement, preferably including substantial experience in Pharma/BioPharmaIn-depth knowledge of managing global category processes and suppliersProven success managing suppliers and category processes across a breadth of categories, driving results through effective sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship managementPreferred-Experience with sourcing and contracting tools, ERPs, and eRFx or sourcing platform systems (e.g., Oracle, Zycus, Ariba, LabViva, Zageno, Science Exchange, Scientist.com)Preferred-Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Power Automate)Preferred/nice-to-have: Experience managing and implementing inventory management programs and technologies (e.g., RFID, QR codes, consignment, VMI solutions, single-use materials, bioreDoes this sound like you?
