Plasterer

We are in need of a skilled Plasterer to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Plasterer you will be responsible for applying plaster and other materials to walls, ceilings, and structures to create smooth and durable surfaces. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in plastering, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. This is a contract position with a salary of $1500 per week. Kenyan nationals who meet the experience requirements are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning and smoothing them prior to application of plaster. Mix and apply plaster or other materials according to instructions and blueprints. Use hand tools or machines such as trowels, brushes, or spray guns to apply plaster. Smooth out uneven areas and fill in gaps with additional plaster or materials. Create decorative textures or patterns on surfaces using special tools. Ensure surfaces are level and free of imperfections before finishing process. Clean up work area and properly dispose of waste materials. Requirements Proven experience as a Plasterer or similar role. Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately. Excellent attention to detail and hand‑eye coordination. Physical stamina and ability to work on scaffolding or at heights if needed. Good communication skills and ability to work well with others if working in a team setting. Preferred Qualifications Experience working on commercial or residential projects in Los Angeles. Familiarity with different types of plaster (eg. lime, gypsum).
