Sr Product Manager

Responsibilities Own the strategic direction for assigned product categories and develop short‑term and long‑term business plans collaboratively with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver strategic goals. Identify and execute specific new product development projects and other key business initiatives in support of the strategic plan and business roadmap. Manage the existing product line portfolio and recommend product changes, additions, discontinuations, and cost reductions to achieve the best ongoing cost position. Collaborate with the Director of Product Management to establish and communicate prioritization of projects and initiatives based on business needs. Clearly communicate product design direction, including feature and performance expectations and timing requirements, to cross‑functional teams and support market research as required. Serve as subject‑matter expert for the category, providing insights on competitor positions and pricing, end‑user requirements, channel partner needs, cost‑saving opportunities, and trends in the space. Interface heavily with Sales, including participation in customer shows and visits. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related studies (MBA preferred). 7+ years of product management experience (including at least 7 years in a manufacturing environment). Prior channel marketing and/or sales experience in plumbing is a plus. Durable goods experience strongly preferred. Strategic general manager mindset: a desire to manage a business, not just products, and proficiency in financial analysis and working with finance to establish and deliver on financial metrics for projects. Demonstrated success in leading cross‑functional teams in the development and launch of new products and other business initiatives. Ability to develop and present comprehensive business recommendations and proposals within the organization and to customers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills for senior leadership and key customers. Ability to collaborate across all levels and functions within the organization.
