Project Manager (Oncology)

ICON seeks a Clinical Project Manager for oncology clinical research with expertise in trial management and cross-functional leadership. The role involves overseeing project portfolios, serving as primary client liaison, and ensuring projects remain on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards in a remote position based in the US or Canada.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between clients and project teams, addressing questions and resolving issues
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage third-party vendors to maintain project quality, timeline, and budget
• Monitor contractual deliverables against agreed metrics including scope, cost, and schedule compliance
• Provide performance feedback to team members and support bid defense processes
• Develop financial analyses and timeline projections for senior and customer management

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years clinical research experience at a Contract Research Organisation
• Undergraduate degree from accredited institution or equivalent education and experience
• 1-2 years leading oncology cellular therapy clinical trials, strongly preferred
• Licensed healthcare professional such as registered nurse, preferred
• Fluent English; ability to read, write, and speak professionally
• Legally authorized to work in United States or Canada without sponsorship
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed
