Crisis CoordinatorThe Crisis Coordinator is responsible for the supervision of Elevate's Crisis Service Programs in Sheboygan County. These services include Mobile Crisis, Walk-In Crisis Services, and the Co-responder Program. This position works closely with the Crisis Services Program Manager, the City/County of Sheboygan Police Department and Sheboygan County Health and Human Services. The Crisis Coordinator serves on the leadership team for Crisis Services.Work Location: Elevate Office 1426 N. 5th Street, Sheboygan, WIPay Range: $23-$29/hourHours: Full Time 1PM-9PM with every other weekendFSLA: Full-Time, ExemptWork/Life Balance: Competitive Pay Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, etc.) for positions of 30 hours or more per week. Simple IRA and Roth with matching contribution up to 3% EAP Tuition reimbursementEssential Functions:Provide day-to-day supervision, coaching, and support to crisis staff, including mobile crisis and co-responder team membersOversee daily program operations to ensure consistent, high-quality service deliveryManage staff scheduling, payroll, and time-off approvals to ensure adequate coverage across all shiftsParticipate in on-call rotation and provide leadership support during high-risk or complex situationsSupport staff in the field as needed, including responding to crisis situations and providing guidance on assessments and interventionsEnsure compliance with WI Chapter 34 standards, agency policies, and county requirementsSupport onboarding, training, and ongoing staff development to ensure staff meet credentialing and best practice standardsConduct quality assurance reviews to ensure timely, accurate documentation and data collectionMonitor program data including response times, service utilization, and outcomesAssist in evaluating program effectiveness and implementing improvementsSupport the development and implementation of policies and procedures for daily operationsMaintain program resources, including ordering supplies and ensuring operational readinessFacilitate team meetings, case consultations, and staff communication to promote alignment and consistencyCollaborate with law enforcement through briefings, debriefings, ride-alongs, and proactive communicationBuild and maintain strong relationships with community partners to improve coordination and service deliverySupport client needs as appropriate, including involvement in complex or high-risk casesCollaborate with community programs (e.g., Calm Harbor) to ensure continuity of careIdentify opportunities for program growth, system improvement, and community engagementComplete administrative tasks including documentation oversight, follow-up tracking, and reporting requirementsSecondary Duties and Responsibilities:Cultivate and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholdersIdentify public policy or system-level opportunities to improve crisis response servicesSupport outreach, training, and public speaking engagements as neededOther duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field requiredMaster's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field preferredMinimum of 1 year experience in crisis services, mental health, or substance use services preferred.1–2 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred, but willing to train.Experience in crisis intervention or crisis service delivery strongly preferredDemonstrated ability to support, coach, and guide staff in a fast-paced environmentStrong decision-making skills in high-pressure or complex situationsExperience collaborating with law enforcement and community partners preferredProficient in technology, data tracking, and program evaluation systemsAbility to manage multiple priorities and projects with measurable outcomesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailDemonstrated integrity, professionalism, and commitment to Elevate's missionExperience with public speaking, presentations, or community outreach preferredAdditional RequirementsParticipation in on-call rotation requiredValid driver's license and ability to travel within the countySuccessful completion of reference, background, driver's license checks and drug screeningThis role requires a commitment to:Trauma-informed, person-centered careThe least restrictive level of interventionRespect, dignity, and confidentiality for all individuals servedThe mission and philosophy of Elevate requires this position to perform in both a professional and personable manner.
