Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (18:30–07:00) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an acute care surgical and bariatric unit with a 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform telemetry monitoring and medical-surgical nursing interventions as required by patient acuity
• Float to other units as needed based on census and staffing requirements
• Actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside the provision of direct patient care
• Complete required orientation modules, including online computer-based learning (CBLs), during the designated orientation period

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing experience
• AHA BLS certification required (AHA is the only accepted form; no substitutions)
• Must complete Relias EKG testing within 72 hours of signing; two attempts allowed — failure to complete or pass within this timeframe may result in cancellation
• Must be available for drug testing within 12–14 calendar days prior to start date, with the possibility of a second lab visit if needed
• Facial hair must be trimmed or removed in accordance with CDC guidelines for fit testing
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a surgical or bariatric patient care setting
• Comfort with floating across units in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are also considered
