Job Responsibilities

• Perform pathology assistant duties within a hospital laboratory setting.
• Complete specimen grossing and related pathology workflows.
• Ensure daily caseloads are completed before the end of each shift.
• Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff to support efficient operations.
• Provide coverage at assigned facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Pathology Assistant certification required.
• ASCP certification required.
• Grossing experience required.
• Ability to credential with multiple healthcare systems as required.
• Must meet all facility credentialing requirements.

Working Hours

• Schedule: Monday–Friday Day Shift
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Lunch: 1-hour unpaid lunch break
• Call Requirement: None
• Coverage Type: Vacation Coverage
