Blood Draw Specialist 5332Location: Birmingham, ALSchedule: Wednesday-Tuesday 1PM-11 PM, Wed-Tues, 7on7offProjected duration: 3 monthsBenefits are includedRequires experience with younger and older patientsSummary: As a phlebotomist, you will assist with various tasks, training, and workflow recommendations.Position Responsibilities:Skills in blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, and recording maintenance data.Properly explain venipuncture procedures to patients.Understand and follow physicians’ orders.Match requisition forms with specimen tubes.Package and store specimens correctly.Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations.High School Diploma or GED required.Minimum 2 years of experience.
