What you’ll be doing With your sales experience, ability to efficiently manage your time, excellent customer relations skills, and excitement for technology, you'll deliver outstanding and innovative business solutions that support our technology evolution and change the way businesses connect. Identifying, developing and qualifying leads within respective territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling, partner-selling, lead-generation campaigns and modern social selling techniques. Gaining new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets. Retaining, managing and growing the existing customer base. Coordinating with support partners to educate and excite customers about how they can leverage innovative business solutions. Proactively establishing, building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers. Effectively presenting and creating multi product solution opportunities. Demonstrating knowledge of wireless and mobility products and integrated software solutions to promote and position products including Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP and Google platforms. Tracking and reporting progress through the consistent use of a variety of sales force automation tools. This position supports a sales territory that requires regular travel within the Yuba City, Davis, Marysville, and surrounding Yolo County, California areas. The majority of your time will be spent in the field for in-person meetings and customer visits. What we’re looking for Self-motivated, excellent at explaining complex technology in plain language. Comfortable with cold-calling and building client relationships. Integrity-minded and collaborative. You’ll need to have: Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience. Four or more years of relevant experience (including military experience). Experience in outside sales, prospecting and negotiation. Willingness to work in a mobile model with up to 50% travel. Valid driver’s license. Even better if you have: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or certifications/college courses. Two or more years of B2B or outside sales experience, including acquisition and prospecting/cold calling. Technology sales experience (SaaS, CRM, SalesForce, social media tools). Strong presentation skills both face‑to‑face and virtually. Experience building and maintaining relationships with all levels of client organizations. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, self‑directed, entrepreneurial environment. Strong time‑management and prioritization skills. Ability to implement feedback and tailor approach for success. Where you’ll be working Primarily working from customer or field locations, with occasional visits to a Verizon location for training and meetings.
