Warehouse Truck OperatorOperate industrial trucks equipped to move materials around a warehouse, storage yard, or factory. Scan and stage materials in the shipping yard for loading. Help to tarp trucks after they are loaded. Clip into a harness to help guide materials onto the truck if necessary.Essential Functions:Move levers or controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams with swivel-hooks, hoists, or elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, or stack material.Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.Scan product and stage it for loading onto trucksHelp Tarp trucks after they are loaded.Put on a harness and guide product onto a truck if necessary.Weigh materials or products and record weight or other production data on tags or labels.Perform routine maintenance on vehicles or auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, fueling, or replacing liquefied-gas tank.Move controls to drive gasoline- or electric-powered trucks, cars, or tractors and transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.Keep work area clean and neat.Other duties as assigned.Job Specifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.One to two years previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience.Basic math skills required; adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, etcPhysical Demands:Must regularly lift up to 50 pounds.Regularly required to walk, stand, and bend in varying temperatures and weather conditions.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.Nesco Resource provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
