Job Description

Join a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED) at a state-of-the-art facility that handles over 100,000 visits annually and is recognized as one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population and assisting with border patients. Please note that the ED is not able to support first-time travelers.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients in a high-volume ED.
• Assist with boarder patients as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform telemetry monitoring and interventions as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License in New York.
• Two (2) years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Previous travel experience in an ER is mandatory.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• NIHSS certification is required.
