License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal

Certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS

Must-Have:

• Experience with GE
• PACS proficiency
• Abdomen studies without and/or with contrast
• Colorectal studies (rectal contrast)
• Pelvis studies without and/or with contrast
• Chest studies without and/or with contrast
• Vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta)
• Carotid studies
• Head studies without and/or with contrast
• Sinuses studies
• Soft tissue neck
• Trauma head
• 3D rendering skills (Maximum intensity projection, Surface shaded displays, Volume rendering)
• Region of interest measurement (ROI)
• Familiarity with Isolation Precautions/PPE
• Clienttion Safety knowledge
• Ability to start Peripheral IVs and perform Venipuncture
• Brain perfusion experience
• Cervical and Lumbar procedures
• Musculoskeletal trauma knowledge
• Thoracic procedures

Description: The traveler will be required to perform CT and X-Ray. Expect to see 6-10 exams per shift. The average daily census is 30 visits. The unit serves patients of all ages including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. This is a low volume critical access hospital in a mountainous area. The CT technologist must be able to perform x-rays unassisted. There are no call or weekend requirements. Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility as needed. All required certifications must be current. RTO after booking is not permitted. Additional RTO requests must be pre-approved. Candidates with previous experience must disclose all relevant employment history during the application process.
