Location: 2027 Christy Drive, Jefferson City Office, Jefferson City, MO, 65101 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Cook to lead our kitchen team at our Jefferson City location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and managing kitchen staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and cook meals according to established recipes and quality standards. Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation. Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure kitchen is well-stocked. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation. Train and mentor kitchen staff to improve skills and performance. Collaborate with management to develop menus and daily specials. Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards. Manage kitchen equipment and ensure proper maintenance. Handle customer feedback and resolve any food-related issues promptly. Qualifications Proven experience as a Head Cook, Chef, or similar role. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Good communication and organizational skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Food Handler’s Certification or equivalent preferred.
