A retail HIV/AIDS specialty pharmacy in North Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a dedicated per diem pharmacist to provide critical coverage starting June 1st. This opportunity is ideal for pharmacists who excel in managing moderate prescription volumes independently and are committed to delivering high-level patient care in a specialized setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage the dispensing of 20-35 prescriptions per day without the assistance of a pharmacy technician.
• Provide compassionate, clear communication with patients and healthcare providers.
• Maintain strict adherence to pharmacy regulations and safety standards.
• Utilize QS1 software efficiently to process prescriptions and manage pharmacy workflow.
• Participate in training prior to the start date to ensure smooth transition and familiarity with workflow.

• Monday, June 1: 8:00 AM 5:30 PM
• Tuesday, June 2: 8:00 AM 5:30 PM
• Wednesday, June 3: 8:00 AM 5:30 PM
• Wednesday, June 10: 8:00 AM 5:30 PM

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Nevada pharmacist license.
• Experience working in a retail pharmacy environment, preferably specializing in HIV/AIDS.
• Ability to work autonomously in a single pharmacist setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating effective communication with patients and providers.
• Commitment to punctuality, reliability, and maintaining a positive attitude.
