Pharmacy Technician - North Las Vegas, NV

Pharmacy Technician
Join a specialized retail pharmacy focused on HIV/AIDS care, providing essential medication and personalized support to a unique patient community. This full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity offers a Monday to Friday schedule with extended hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Thursday, and shorter hours on Friday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Process low volume prescriptions with accuracy and attention to detail
- Perform data entry tasks efficiently to maintain patient records
- Fill and dispense medications according to pharmacy protocols
- Maintain high standards of patient care and support in a specialty setting
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers to ensure optimal service
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Valid Nevada Pharmacy Technician license
- Experience working in retail pharmacy settings
- Strong communication skills with patients and healthcare providers
- Reliability with a commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance
- Positive and professional attitude in daily work
- Experience with QS1 pharmacy software preferred
- Prior experience in HIV/AIDS medication dispensing is highly recommended; please confirm if applicable
