Job Description

Theoris Services is assisting our client in their search for a Mechanical Engineer IV. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with a Professional Engineer license who is passionate about designing and delivering innovative mechanical systems for commercial, municipal, and industrial facilities.

Our client is a Professional Engineering Firm and Systems Integrator with over 25 years of experience providing Design and Design-Build services. With multiple offices across the Mid-Atlantic region, they are recognized for their strong employee- and client-centered culture, collaborative work environment, and commitment to delivering projects on time and on budget.

Responsibilities

• Develop full deliverable packages based on approved proposals.
• Coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines to gather and integrate project information.
• Manage competing design and construction schedules across multiple projects.
• Provide QC and PE reviews of other staff members' work.
• Participate in high-level QC discussions, offering feedback on abstract and conceptual design elements.
• Collaborate with clients, peers, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license (required).
• Experience in consulting engineering, specifically designing HVAC, plumbing, and fire systems for commercial, municipal, or industrial facilities.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Carrier HAP load calculation software (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities with strict attention to deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and approachable demeanor for effective collaboration with peers and clients.
