Maintenance TechnicianWe are looking for a talented Maintenance Technician to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Forest City, NC.Job Summary:Performs maintenance and machine support tasks to keep equipment available and capable. Selects and uses appropriate tools, machinery and specialty equipment completing work with limited guidance. Experience: • Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.Additional Responsibilities Unique to this Position:• Must be able to work overtime. • Must be able to help cover 3rd Shift as needed. • Maintenance certification preferred. • Candidate will be responsible for PM's, MTTR, MTBF and general support for production equipment. • Candidate will assist in forming and fabricating/welding materials for continuous improvement. • Candidate will report to the Maintenance Manager. • Experience with Microsoft Office i.e. Excel and Word helpful. • Experience with a multimeter on electrical circuits required. • Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity required.About Us:Cummins is an equal opportunity employer.
