Operations Manager

Operations Manager Job Description The Operations Manager will lead and optimize manufacturing operations for the production of natural food coloring products. This individual will oversee daily production activities, drive continuous improvement, ensure compliance with food safety and quality requirements, and build the processes, systems, and teams needed to support future growth. The role requires a hands‑on leader with a strong technical experience in process manufacturing and regulated production environments. Responsibilities Lead daily production activities to ensure efficient operations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes. Ensure compliance with food safety and quality requirements. Build and optimize processes, systems, and teams to support organizational growth. Develop and implement strategies to improve yield and troubleshoot complex operations. Essential Skills Technical degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Process Engineering, or related technical discipline. Experience within food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments. Strong understanding of process manufacturing, process controls, quality systems, and regulatory requirements. Knowledge of GMP, SQF, food safety, quality, and environmental compliance standards. 5+ years in an Operations, Manufacturing, or Plant Leadership role. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in food ingredients, food colorings, flavors, specialty chemicals, nutraceuticals, or pharmaceutical manufacturing. Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience. FDA, HACCP, GMP, SQF, or similar quality system experience. Experience scaling operations during periods of rapid organizational growth. Why Work Here?
