Our fully-accredited non-profit private school combines traditional academics with therapeutic intervention and pre-vocational skill development. Our Adult Services Program includes five licensed community residences/group homes and two adult learning centers. Matheny's Arts Access program empowers individuals with disabilities to create art without boundaries. Matheny Medical and Educational Center currently has a career opportunity availalbe for a Full Time Unit Coordintor . The hours for this position are 8:00am-4:00pm.

Responsibilities of this position include:

• Uses discretion and protects the confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs receptionist duties for the Nursing unit.
• Performs patient admissions, transfers, and discharge procedures.
• Manages all patient charts and reports.
• Performs data entry as required by the Nurse Manager.
• Manages the supplies and equipment on the Nursing unit.
• Possesses knowledge of computers and other office and unit equipment.
• Ensures that office equipment is in good working condition.
• Maintains current and accurate information on the bulletin board.
• Maintains reference books and Policy/Procedure manuals.
• Assists, as directed, during emergency situations. Knows where emergency equipment is located.
• Coordinates patients’ medical trips to outside providers.

The salary range for this position is $22 - $25 per hour.

High School Diploma or GED required.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Experience working with developmentally disabled individuals preferred.

Good interpersonal skills required.

Licensure/Certifications:

Current CPR Level C Certification.
