Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatrics

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Pediatrics to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide compassionate care to patients aged 0-17, focusing on medical-surgical and hematology/oncology cases.

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
First-time travelers will be accepted if they possess the necessary 2 years of experience.
Certification in BCLS and PALS required.
Experience administering chemotherapy is essential.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

Skills in IV start and lab draw preferred.
Chemo certification is preferred.

Job Details

Target Ratios: 1:5-6
Shift: 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts from 06:45 to 19:15
Contract Length: 13 weeks
RTO: 7 days maximum for auto offer
Float Requirement: Must float to PICU and NICU
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Patient Diagnoses

This role will involve working with a diverse patient population, including medical-surgical and hematology/oncology patients aged 0-17.

Scheduling and Orientation

Scheduling Type: Self-scheduling
Unit Orientation: 24 hours
Hospital Orientation: First week must be available for daily classes.

Attire

Scrubs are not provided. Fun kid-themed tops and navy pants are encouraged.
