We operate in 13 states with a philosophy that we are much more than a brick manufacturer and distributor.We are currently seeking a "best in class" Sales Order Coordinator with excellent organization skills and a personable disposition that will be a liaison between customers, sales representative, sales manager and plant/vendors regarding sales order status. The ideal candidate has a natural ability to roll with the punches, being flexible to handle anything that might come their way. You will be a strong and reliable support to company operations, maintaining procedures, communication and customer service. Not only will your efforts allow us to achieve organizational efficiency, you will nurture the pleasant work environment our people love.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):Receive, enter and maintain customer orders primarily for commercial and other large, complex projects and customers.Interacts and communicates with customers by phone, email, and letters in regards to sales orders.Coordinate order progress, changes and status updates between customers, sales representatives and plants/vendors.Assist with establishing and maintaining manufacturing and delivery priorities.Maintains project leads and CRM records of project status as projects move through the design, bid and construction phases.Assists sales representatives by preparing quotations, sales presentations, ordering samples, literature and other sales support activities.Skills and Experience Required for Success:2+ years of related experienceMust have excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel (JDE experience preferred)Competencies Required for Success:IntegrityTeamworkRelationship BuildingQuality FocusedEducation:High school diploma or equivalent required; some college is preferredWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
