1st Shift Welder

Flux Core WelderThis role offers an experienced welder the opportunity to fabricate custom structural components used in bridge construction projects across the United States. You will perform high-quality welds using multiple processes, with a strong emphasis on flux core and gas-shielded welding, while working a consistent day shift in a steady 40-hour workweek.ResponsibilitiesPerform high-quality welding on structural components, primarily using flux core and gas-shielded welding processes.Interpret and follow job specifications, drawings, and instructions to build custom pieces for bridge projects.Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and related tools in a safe and efficient manner.Execute occasional stick welding and sub arc welding when required by specific projects.Work with larger steel pieces and assemblies, ensuring proper alignment, fit-up, and weld integrity.Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to project requirements and standards.Essential SkillsAt least 10 years of professional welding experience.Strong proficiency in flux core welding, serving as the primary welding method.Hands-on experience with gas-shielded welding processes.Ability to perform stick welding when required.Ability to perform sub arc welding when required.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in fabrication or welding for bridge or heavy structural projects is a plus.Comfort working with a variety of welding processes depending on project needs.Proven reliability and consistent work history in manufacturing or fabrication environments.Weld Test and Start Within a Week!This is a Permanent position based out of Coraopolis, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $62400.00/yr.
