Chan & Company Inc is looking for an experienced and driven Senior Tax Manager to join our team in Culver City, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role in a dynamic accounting firm where your expertise will make a real impact for clients and colleagues alike. Responsibilities:
- Manage and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio
- Lead, mentor, and develop junior tax staff and associates
- Oversee tax compliance engagements from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Research and interpret tax regulations, rulings, and legislation to advise clients and internal teams
- Manage client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact for tax-related matters
- Identify and implement tax savings strategies and risk mitigation opportunities
- CPA license required; MST or advanced degree in Taxation preferred
- 12+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting
- Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state tax compliance and planning
- Experience managing and reviewing returns for high-net-worth individuals and business entities
- Proficiency with tax software such as Lacerte Tax Software, or similar platforms
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
