Job description – Construction/Site Engineer We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and execution of construction projects, ensuring that all engineering principles are adhered to and that projects are completed on time and within budget. This position requires a strong foundation in civil engineering principles and proficiency in various design software. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and execution of construction projects, ensuring that all engineering principles are adhered to and that projects are completed on time and within budget. This position requires a strong foundation in civil engineering principles and proficiency in various design software. Duties Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop project specifications and designs. Utilise software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and Civil 3D for creating detailed engineering drawings. Conduct land surveying to assess site conditions and prepare reports on findings. Perform system design calculations using tools like Mathcad to ensure structural integrity and compliance with regulations. Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards. Coordinate with project managers to monitor progress and resolve any issues that arise during construction. Prepare documentation for project proposals, including technical reports and presentations. Assist in the evaluation of project costs and timelines to facilitate effective budgeting. Experience A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and other relevant engineering tools (Revit, ArcGIS). Experience with system design and land surveying techniques. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform complex calculations. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. A proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
