Senior Accountant

North Houston area oil field services company has an outstanding opportunity open for a Senior Accountant. This is a direct hire position and is also a hybrid role with 3 days in office and 2 days work from home.

The Senior Accountant will be leading month-end and year-end close processes, preparing journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and financial statements. Also, will prepare supporting schedules and audit documentation, prep of monthly and quarterly financials, timely financial reporting, account analysis, Position will also assist with training Staff Accountants, helping improve systems and processes, and special projects assigned by VP of Finance.

Qualifications:
- BBA/BS in Accounting required
- CPA or CPA eligible and working towards CPA requirements
- 4+ years of experience and currently in a Senior Accountant role
- Strong Excel and ERP system skills

Salary range is $80-95K depending upon experience.
