Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech services within a school setting located in Columbus, GA. This role focuses on delivering remote speech therapy to students using telepractice platforms, ensuring effective communication support and skill development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments via telespeech platforms.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Deliver remote speech therapy sessions, utilizing technology to engage and assist students.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions.
- Maintain detailed documentation and reports in compliance with school policies and regulations.
- Participate in virtual meetings and professional development related to teletherapy best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience providing speech therapy in school environments.
- Proficiency with telepractice technology and remote treatment delivery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in virtual settings.
- Ability to manage caseloads independently and effectively.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience with telespeech service models.
- Knowledge of educational terminology and special education processes.
- Familiarity with relevant software and virtual communication tools.
