Job Description
Title: NMT - PET Tech

Schedule:
- Varied start times: 07:00-09:00
- Shift options: 4x10s or 5x8s
- Rotating weekend shifts required

Assignment Details:
- Primary assignment: PET/CT (may float to Nuclear Medicine as needed)
- Typical volumes: ~6-7 PET/CT/day; ~9 general nuclear studies/day

Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of NMT experience
- Minimum 6 months of PET experience required
- Required license/certifications:
- ARRT (N) OR NMTCB with valid CA license
- BLS certification
- EPIC charting experience highly preferred
- Siemens equipment experience strongly preferred
- Key clinical skills:
- PET/CT procedures
- General nuclear medicine studies (cardiac, bone, renal, VQ, parathyroid, In-111 WB)
- Nuclear cardiology/perfusion and pharmacologic stress

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform PET/CT and general nuclear medicine studies on patients of all age groups.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals.
- Ensure patient safety and manage the handling/disposal of radioactive materials.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards in imaging.
- Document all procedures accurately in electronic health records.

Compliance / Notes:
- Must have CA state license in-hand at the time of submission
- SSN and DOB required for compliance/background checks
- 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Must be willing to work 3 of the following 5 holidays if required: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
