Human Resources Credentialing Specialist

We are looking for a Human Resources Credentialing Specialist to join a busy team in a contract-to-permanent role. This position supports the credentialing process by managing large volumes of employee information, coordinating required screenings, and ensuring records remain accurate and current. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing administrative tasks with frequent communication in a fast-moving environment.Responsibilities:• Enter and maintain high volumes of credentialing and personnel data with accuracy and consistency across tracking systems.• Review submitted documentation to confirm licenses, certifications, and other required credentials meet compliance standards.• Coordinate pre-employment and ongoing screening activities, including background investigations, motor vehicle record reviews, drug testing, and related checks.• Conduct reference outreach and document findings in accordance with established credentialing procedures.• Monitor expiration timelines and manage renewal activities to help keep employee credentials active and up to date.• Update multiple tracking tools at the same time while prioritizing deadlines and maintaining organized records.• Respond to inbound and outbound communication regarding credentialing status, outstanding items, and next steps with a service-focused approach.
