Description What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests across various disciplinesincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologyadhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot anomalies, and ensure lab instruments undergo regular maintenance and calibration.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis when required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff, and champion lab quality standards.
• Ensure laboratory cleanliness and safety while complying with regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within a year of hire.
• Maintain your certification for the duration of your employment.
