• Carefully assess results for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies between expected outcomes and actual findings, and maintain laboratory equipment through routine calibration and preventative care.
• Assist with the collection of samples and prepare them for diagnostic testing as necessary.
• Maintain extensive documentation of all laboratory procedures, mentor new staff members or students, and contribute to maintaining high standards within the lab.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Educational Background

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a relevant allied health degree, in addition to clearance for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of joining our team.
• Keep your certification up-to-date throughout your tenure with us.
