Carry out a mix of routine and advanced clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologyfollowing established protocols to ensure accuracy and reliability. Evaluate test results meticulously, troubleshoot discrepancies, and maintain lab instruments through regular calibration and preventative maintenance. Support specimen collection processes and prepare samples efficiently for analysis as needed. Keep detailed records of all laboratory procedures, assist in training new staff, and uphold rigorous quality assurance processes. Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, preparing for ASCP/AMT certification. ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), which should be attained within your first year. Ongoing maintenance of your certification is essential for this role. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to foster teamwork within healthcare settings. Independently capable of assessing situations and solving problems in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and detail-oriented mindset, particularly regarding quality control and documentation practices.
