Description Here's What You Will Do

• Conduct both standard and complex clinical lab testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologyadhering to established procedural guidelines.
• Evaluate test outcomes for precision, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection processes and expertly prepare samples for a variety of tests.
• Meticulously document all laboratory procedures, assist in training newcomers, and uphold stringent lab quality standards.
• Ensure a wholesome, safe working environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation prerequisites.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health-related degree alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of employment.
