Outpatient Therapist (LMHC, LCSW, Registered Intern) PRN

Responsibilities Coral Shores Behavioral Health is seeking a talented and dynamic Licensed Therapist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. Coral Shores Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of UHS, is an 80‑bed adolescent and adult Baker Act receiving facility located in sunny Stuart, Florida. Our professional staff provide high quality, individualized care that uniquely fits the intensity and severity of each patient’s needs, offering a continuum of mental health and addiction services in a confidential, caring environment that promotes crisis resolution, positive self‑awareness, personal growth, and problem‑solving. Coral Shores is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Position Summary The IOP Therapist PRN performs clinical functions, including assisting patients in meeting their goals and enabling them to access therapeutic treatment skills to achieve optimal emotional health. Duties include providing basic consultation, teaching, specialized clinical social work services for patients/families, crisis intervention, short‑term and long‑term family therapy, group therapy, providing information and referrals as needed, and individual therapy when ordered by an MD. Services are delivered in an outpatient psychiatric behavioral health center setting, addressing patients with co‑occurring disorders, psychiatric disorders, substance abuse disorders, and other behavioral disorders. Schedule PRN Education Master’s Degree from an accredited school in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling. Qualifications Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required or equivalent Experience One (1) year of experience working in a Behavioral Health Center or psychiatric counseling setting with adults and/or children treating co‑occurring, mentally ill, or chemically dependent patients, with an understanding of co‑occurring disorders and cultural/linguistic diversity among patients. Licensure Licensed in FL – LMHC or LCSW, Registered Intern.
