Working Conditions

This position may be eligible for telework. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and based on the Fair Political Practices Commission’s current telework policy. While FPPC supports telework, in-person attendance may be required based on operational needs. Employees are expected to be able to report to their worksite with minimal notification if an urgent need arises, as determined by the FPPC .

Effective July 1, 2025, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented in response to the status of the State budget. PLP 2025 requires that each full-time employee in BU2 receive 4.62% reduction in pay in exchange for five (8) hours of PLP 2025 leave credits through June 2027

Special Requirements

Member of the State Bar of California ( Applicants must have active membership in the State Bar before they will be elgible for appointment.)

This position is subject to the Form 700 Statement of Economic Interests filing requirements.
