Responsibilities include working on specialized units to support residents with varying needs.Unit Information\n \n 3 East: A 31-bed specialized unit dedicated to residents with Alzheimer's and dementia, focusing on tailored care that meets their unique needs. This includes utilizing effective verbal and non-verbal communication techniques and understanding the behaviors associated with dementia as valid forms of communication.\n Transitional Rehabilitation Unit: A 42-bed unit that provides short-term skilled nursing and rehabilitation services for patients recovering from surgeries, strokes, fractures, and other short-term illnesses or injuries. Services may include IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment and management.\n 3 West: A 42-bed long-term care unit that offers essential support to residents in a home-like environment for ongoing care needs.\n Job Requirements\n \n Education: Associates degree in Nursing.\n Licensure: Valid State of Maine or compact RN license.\n Experience: 1-3 years of previous RN experience.\n Skills:\n \n Proficiency in medical terminology is preferred.\n Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.\n The ability to effectively collaborate with other care providers.\n Flexibility to provide coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and to float to other units as needed.\n \n Equal Opportunity Employer\n We are an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer.
