We are committed to providing the highest level of obstetric care, prenatal consultations and ultrasound services, medical education and training, and advancing the care of women before, during and after pregnancy through outstanding clinical care and groundbreaking clinical and translational research.

The Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) division provides diagnostic and consultative services focused on high-risk obstetrics.

Scheduling Requirement

• The outpatient office is open Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm. No weekends or major holidays.
• The per diem RN is required to work a minimum of two shifts per four-week schedule.
• Based on your hired shift, work at least two 'difficult to staff' days per calendar year (Easter, Mother's Day, Halloween, 'Black Friday', Good Friday, Christmas Eve, Valentine's Day or New Year's Eve).

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• The RNs perform all Antenatal Testing, phlebotomy for genetic screening, Diabetic teaching, teaching for self-administering of Insulin, Lovenox, and other medications as prescribed.
• RN assists with all invasive procedures, i.e., Amniocentesis, CVS (Chorionic Villi Sampling), Fetal Reduction, and Saline HSG (Hysterosalpingogram)

What We Require for this Role:

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required

Related Work Experience

• 15 months of RN experience required
• 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
• High risk OBGYN experience preferred.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

• Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) to perform Non-Stress Tests (NST) required within 1 year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Active NJ RN license required
• National Nursing Certification preferred
