Job Description Team Lead – San Bernardino (HIRING IMMEDIATELY) Position Details Shift: 3rd Shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM) Schedule: Fixed schedule with Mondays and Sundays off Flexibility: Available to adjust schedule to provide coverage for other Team Leaders during absences or business needs Compensation Starting Pay: $30.47 + $1.50/hr shift differential Eligible for pay‑for‑skill program to increase pay as skills develop Essential Duties And Responsibilities Assure safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) on the shop floor Report and investigate incidents/accidents, and follow case‑management process through completion Ensure quality checks are performed in accordance with specs, run rules, and required checklists during shift start and changeovers Comply with all GMP standards and 3rd‑party audit requirements (BRC, etc.) Work with teams to improve line efficiency and productivity, reduce downtime, and reduce scrap Ensure standard work practices and defined troubleshooting methods are followed; coach and address performance issues as appropriate Coordinate team resources to staff plant priority lines following published schedule and priorities, using manning tables and skills matrix Lead coordination with support operations (maintenance and tooling) to keep lines operating at all times Create maintenance work orders for work requests when needed Utilize Business System processes to track, report, and lead countermeasures (e.g., tier meetings, line‑tracking follow‑up, shift‑end tally reporting) Lead and direct trainers in the training of operators through published modules, ensuring timely completion of training modules Maintain inventory records and security, assist in physical inventories, and ensure proper stock rotation Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area following 6S standards; assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse Additional duties may be assigned as required Skills and Competencies Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform simple calculations, use a calculator, and work with percentages Communication Skills: Read, write, and understand basic English and/or Spanish; communicate effectively and professionally under pressure Reasoning Ability: Follow established guidelines and detailed instructions with little or no choice of action Computer Skills: Learn and use internal programs such as Insight, Maintenance Connection, and similar applications; demonstrate above‑average proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access (desired) Education and Experience Requirements (Qualifications) High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 3 years of leadership experience; some college or technical coursework desired Strong computer skills; experience using SAP and ability to learn other software programs Detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously Capable of monitoring progress, prioritizing, and following up to ensure completion Work effectively with associates at all levels of the organization Provide effective informal coaching and training Set priorities and cope with several problems simultaneously Create training documents, single‑point lessons, and forms as needed Possess good verbal and written communication skills Maintain a positive professional attitude Meet the physical requirements of the job and medical assessment requirements for the position Company Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as resources focused on mental, physical, and financial well‑being.
