What You ll Do:

• Perform patient histories, physical exams, and assessments in a Level II Trauma Center
• Initiate and review treatment plans, including ordering diagnostics and therapies
• Recognize and respond effectively to urgent patient situations
• Counsel patients on health topics and discharge planning
• Facilitate admissions, maintain accurate documentation, and coordinate patient referrals
• Administer medications and assist in surgical procedures, including first or second assist and robotic-assisted surgeries (if qualified)
• Support trauma patient management, monitoring, and discharge processes
• Collaborate with trauma surgeons and support staff to deliver high-quality care

What You Need:

• Active California PA or NP license
• Trauma/Critical Care experience (preferred)
• Valid certification in BLS
• Surgical assisting training or experience for OR duties
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
