Accounting Specialist

Yardi is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support the financial operations of a dedicated team or business unit. In this role, you’ll perform daily and monthly reconciliations, manage transaction reporting, assist with invoice and credit memo processing, and help ensure a smooth month-end close. You’ll also collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies and support compliance reviews and audits. What You’ll Do: Reconcile accounts and verify transaction accuracy to ensure financial data integrity Prepare and manage financial reports for internal stakeholders and audit purposes Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain compliance Contribute to monthly close activities and reporting Who You Are: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Two plus (2+) years of experience in accounting or finance support role Understanding of general accounting principles and reconciliation processes Strong communication and ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline‑driven environment Ideal to Have: Experience supporting audits or compliance processes a plus $27.69/hr - $31.15/hr #J-18808-Ljbffr
