The Role

We are seeking a resourceful, imaginative, and commercially minded Marketing Specialist who brings original ideas and knows how to put them into action.

You will help shape how customers discover, understand, and engage with Avam Sciences. Working across campaigns, content, digital channels, and product launches, you will translate scientific capabilities into compelling stories that connect with specific audiences and inspire action.

We want someone who questions familiar approaches, identifies overlooked opportunities, and brings fresh thinking to how scientific products are marketed. You should be equally comfortable proposing an unexpected campaign concept, writing persuasive copy, coordinating its execution, and reviewing the results.

You will work closely with sales, product specialists, scientific teams, and creative colleagues to build marketing that is distinctive, accurate, and effective.

What You'll Own

• Develop original campaign ideas: Create concepts that capture attention, communicate customer value, and give Avam a distinctive presence in scientific and industrial markets.
• Execute campaigns across channels: Plan and deliver coordinated activity across email, LinkedIn, social media, website content, digital advertising, webinars, and industry events.
• Write compelling content: Develop campaign copy, landing pages, emails, product stories, presentations, and sales materials that make technical subjects clear and relevant.
• Market around customer applications: Tailor messaging to audiences such as pharmaceutical and industrial QC teams, food and beverage manufacturers, environmental laboratories, and research organizations.
• Support product launches: Help define audiences, messaging, creative concepts, launch materials, and promotional plans for new products and capabilities.
• Partner with sales: Work with Account Executives and Business Development Representatives to understand customer objections, strengthen outreach, and generate relevant inquiries and opportunities.
• Collaborate with scientific and creative teams: Turn technical expertise into engaging marketing while maintaining accurate claims, consistent branding, and a high standard of presentation.
• Experiment and improve: Test messaging, formats, audiences, and channels, then use the results to refine campaigns and recommend where to invest effort.
• Understand the market: Research customer needs, purchasing behavior, competitors, and emerging opportunities to inform marketing decisions.
• Build repeatable processes: Maintain campaign calendars, organize assets, coordinate contributors, and improve how marketing work moves from idea to delivery.
• Measure commercial impact: Track engagement, conversions, lead quality, and contributions to sales opportunities and revenue.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• At least two years of hands-on marketing experience, with examples of campaigns, content, or initiatives you helped develop and deliver.
• Demonstrated creativity: the ability to develop original ideas, explain why they suit the audience, and turn them into practical work.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills, including the ability to make complex information clear, engaging, and persuasive.
• Experience executing marketing across multiple channels and managing projects from concept through completion.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of how marketing supports customer acquisition, retention, and revenue.
• Comfort using campaign data to evaluate results, learn from experiments, and improve performance.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through across competing priorities.
• Initiative, curiosity, and the confidence to propose ideas while remaining receptive to feedback.
• An interest in science, technology, and the industries Avam serves, with a willingness to learn from technical colleagues.
• Ambition to take on greater responsibility and develop into a capable marketing leader.

Nice to Have

Experience in B2B marketing, life sciences, laboratory products, manufacturing, or other technical markets is valuable. Candidates from other industries are encouraged to apply if they can demonstrate strong creative thinking and effective execution.

Familiarity with CRM systems, email marketing platforms, website analytics, search marketing, design tools, or video content is also beneficial.

A degree in marketing, communications, business, or a scientific field is helpful but not required.
