Job Description Job Summary Manufacturing machine maintenance, troubleshooting and repair. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Machine repair, rebuilding and retrofitting, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Structural, Electrical, and Electronics (working knowledge of PLC’s, Drives, etc.) Performs preventive maintenance for manufacturing equipment to electrical, mechanical and safety standards. Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose cause of electrical and mechanical malfunction or failure of manufacturing equipment and apply corrective action to resolve re-occurring issues. Ability to utilize various diagnostic equipment and measuring devices such as voltmeters, calipers, micrometers and oscilloscopes for troubleshooting and monitoring equipment performance. Perform basic plumbing, electrical and structure repair in and around the facility Work in a safe and organized manner Assist with the installation of new equipment Ability to safely use a variety of hand and power tools as required Perform Lockout and Tagout (LOTO) procedures in accordance with company policy. Working knowledge of PC based Microsoft office programs: Outlook, Word, Excel Prior Forklift certification. Good driving record and current, valid driver license to operate company vehicle as required. Availability for overtime as required. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Associate degree in a related field from a two-year college or technical school. Minimum 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
