Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Multi-Craft Maintenance TechnicianAre you a skilled technician ready to take the next step in your career? You'll gain exposure to cross-functional teams, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and have the opportunity to develop leadership skills as part of your career progression.Principal Functional Responsibilities:Makes safety the number one priority by leading by example, addressing unsafe conditions & behaviors, and supporting safety improvement initiativesSupports continuous improvement by participating in events and submitting opportunities for improvementsWorking as a team or individual, perform maintenance on production and facility equipmentRead, analyze, and interpret schematics, blueprints, service manuals, and work ordersMaintain a neat and orderly work area following 5S standardsRespond quickly to service call; interact with colleagues in a professional mannerUse computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to document work and order partsPerforms other related duties as needed and assignedEssential Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; 5+ years of relevant experience in an industrial settingCertificate of Skill (Welding, Rigging, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Bearings)Ability to work both independently and as a teamUnderstand and comply with safety standardsPreferred Qualifications:Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, A/C (including troubleshooting and repair), and Allen Bradley PLC ladder logicCertificate(s) in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, etc.High attention to detailGood basic math skillsAssociate degree in Industrial or Electronic Technology or Mechatronics.Competencies:Print reading (particularly electrical)Mechanical & electrical troubleshootingMachine & facility wiringPLC connection and following ladder logicGood communication skillsAbout UsBrassCraft Manufacturing Company is a leading manufacturer and distributor of high-quality water and gas flow control products, plumbing service and repair parts, and drain cleaning and plumbing hand tools for the new construction and repair/remodel markets.
