Exciting Opportunity for an Orthopedic RN!

Job Description:


- Join our dynamic 24-bed unit focused on delivering exceptional care!
- Engage with a diverse patient population of postoperative adult patients:
- Orthopedic surgeries
- Total Joint Replacement
- Podiatry
- Spine surgeries
- Experience a supportive environment with a staffing ratio of up to 6 patients per RN.
- Length of stays vary based on surgery performed and individual discharge needs.
- Previous orthopedic surgery nursing experience is highly preferred.
- ACLS certification is required.

Requirements:


- Valid Nursys License and License/Certificate Verification.
- Successfully complete the Ascension Pharmacology Exam and Medical Surgical Exam during onboarding.
- Complete core competency assessments, including EKG and Unit Specific Checklists.
- Provide essential personal health records, including:
- Fit Test
- MMR
- Hepatitis B
- Influenza Vaccine
- 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot)
- Varicella
- Tdap
- Include a Driver's License/State ID.
- Submit an Ascension Criminal Background Check, EPLS, and Education Verification.
