Majesty’s Animal Nutrition is a family-owned company that manufactures supplements and treats for companion animals. We are a growing company looking for dependable, detail-oriented team members who take pride in producing quality products and working as part of a team.

The Packaging Lead is responsible for overseeing daily packaging operations and ensuring products are packaged accurately, safely, and according to company quality standards. This position works closely with Packaging Associates and the Quality Control Manager to ensure production goals are met, paperwork and quality control documentation are completed correctly, and the packaging area remains safe, clean, and organized.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, comfortable directing and training others, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Ensure product cards are filled out correctly and completely and accurately reflect the product in each bin, matching the corresponding QC form.
• Ensure cards are properly initialed after bins are emptied.
• Assist with unloading product bins and organizing products in the correct order for bagging or jarring.
• Verify that all product counts and weights are accurate before bagging or jarring.
• Ensure all QC forms are complete, accurate, and properly signed at all times.
• Package finished wafers and soft chews according to all packaging guidelines.
• Ensure bagging operations using packaging machinery are completed correctly and efficiently.
• Follow all quality control procedures outlined in the Quality Control Manual.
• Complete all required documentation and paperwork accurately, including the electronic pallet log.
• Ensure all QC samples are retained according to the MMR form.
• Communicate regularly with the Quality Control Manager regarding packaging processes and quality requirements.
• Direct Packaging Associates in their daily duties and ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Train and support Packaging Associates as needed.
• Encourage team members to meet production goals and contribute ideas for improving efficiency and workflow.
• Ensure the packaging area is safe, organized, clean, and free of clutter.
• Assist with quality control functions and required documentation.
• Ensure finished products are properly stored and segregated.
• Clean and sanitize machines, tools, and work areas as required.
• Verify that machines are properly maintained and functioning correctly, coordinating with appropriate personnel or the Quality Control Manager when needed.
• Operate a small forklift safely and responsibly.
• Assist with maintaining a safe and properly functioning plant.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or packaging experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to read and write at a high school level.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Previous experience supervising, leading, or training employees.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
• Experience in baking, food processing, food handling, or a similar environment is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to work as part of a team while also providing direction to others.
• Must be willing and available to work overtime as scheduled or as needed.
