Occupational Therapist Position

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapist license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain
- Experience providing OT services in a school setting
- Background working with students on the autism spectrum preferred
- Ability to develop and implement IEP-driven treatment plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working full-time for the full school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for students with autism
- Develop and deliver individualized interventions to improve students' participation in school activities
- Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and other service providers to support student success
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
- Provide consultative support to educational teams on sensory and motor needs
- Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment
