Overview This role is located at Discovery Land Company’s Hamptons locations: Dune Deck Beach Club in Westhampton Beach, NY and The Hills in East Quogue, NY. Employer of record is DLV Hamptons Management LLC. This is a seasonal position for Dune Deck Beach Club and The Hills, available May 1, 2026 – October 7, 2026. H-2B visa sponsorship is available. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees. Responsibilities Maintain sanitation standards in all kitchen work areas by cleaning dishes, kitchen, food preparation equipment, or utensils. Provide clean cooking utensils for the food and beverage operations and ensure that all utensils and equipment are clean, dry, and stored correctly in the designated areas. Maintain safety and proper storage of chemicals (such as bleach, Clorox, and food safety products) and maintain chemical concentration logs. Perform daily setups of china, glassware, and silverware items for all outlets. Participate as a team player with other key team members and attend department briefings as necessary. Complete all opening/closing procedures as instructed. Assist with execution of departmental objectives and goals. Monitor inventory levels for food, ingredients, cooking materials, and supplies for culinary, dishware, and cleaning supplies through regular inventory checks. Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of equipment such as dishwashers, stove tops, ovens, mixers, refrigerators, and cooking prep areas. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Qualifications Three (3) months of experience in high-volume restaurants, resort, or private club. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts longer than eight hours. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Ability to work indoors and outdoors. Ability to stand, walk, and move for periods longer than four hours. Ability to carry, bend, stoop, squat, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. Background check will be performed at the expense of the employer. Additional Requirements Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays; long hours may be required due to business demands. Ability to work in a team environment and stay calm and focused during busy times. Benefits Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00 USD per hour; based on experience Employee meals, referral incentives, and recognition programs Optional housing is offered through a separate rental company for those outside of a commutable distance. Cost of housing and utilities is $100.00 - $150.00 per week for a shared room; rent is paid directly to a separate company via electronic payment.
