The Office Assistant is responsible for administrative responsibilities with light janitorial tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient working environment. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and capable of managing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of our office. Responsibilities

Position at SBM Management
SBM Management is searching for a dynamic Office Assistant to join our team! The Office Assistant is responsible for administrative responsibilities with light janitorial tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient working environment. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and capable of managing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of our office. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages when necessary
- Provide support to office staff as needed throughout the workday
- Distribute communication related to facility operations
- Assist with organizing and executing office-based SBM events.
- Manage and organize office files, records, and documents
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Ensure the office is clean and tidy at all times
- Perform regular cleaning tasks, such as vacuuming, dusting, and emptying trash bins
- Clean and sanitize common areas, including restrooms and kitchen spaces
- Restock supplies in restrooms and kitchen areas
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Other duties as assigned
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role
- Familiarity with office equipment, such as printers and fax machines
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- May be required to have a valid driver's license.
